Laston spa was founded in 1962 and initially produces chemicals for the building.
In 1965, the first in Europe to develop the technology of lightweight cellular cement slurry is mixed with a foaming protein obtained with the foam Foamcem.
In this way we introduce a high percentage of cells in the mixture of air locks, about two thirds of the entire volume, which gives the material light weight and high insulation.
Of course, to get a high quality material, you must observe the requirements and especially in the doses used an additive that allows to obtain a foam perfectly mixable and resistant to the setting time of cement.
After extensive studies and tests it was established that the additive Foamcem protein, whose name and logo is held and deposited by the Italian Laston Spa has the best characteristics with regard to the production of a homogeneous foam and persistent.
